Appraisals
We offer appraisals on jewelry, whether you bought the item here, would like to sell something you own, need a fair market or insurance replacement value appraisal, or simply to determine what it is you have inherited.
Appraisal Types
We offer 3 different categories of appraisals:
- If you have an item that you are thinking of selling, come in for a free purchase bid.
- We also offer a 30-minute consultation appointment
for $50 if you want more information on your item(s), to verify
something you've purchased or investigate your selling options.
- Lastly, we provide formal, written appraisals for
insurance for $100 (first 3 items, price TBD for more items). You will need to call to make an appointment to bring your items in. Most of the time we can do this while you wait. After we have looked at your items and have the information we need, you take your items with you, and the completed appraisal will be sent to you.
Call 415-982-4400 (during business hours) to make an appraisal appointment. Appointments are available M-F, 10a-4p (no insurance appraisals on Fridays).
Any fees charged for an appraisal can be used as a credit towards a future purchase.
